Beauty Surrounds Us!!

Stop and look at flowers closely.  There is something very spiritual about their beauty.  Each one is a masterpiece made by our Creator to show us His love and presence for us.

Flowers bloom wherever their seeds fall – on mountain tops, in fields, and even between a crack in the pavement.  They bend their heads in the wind and rain and raise their heads to the sun.  What an example for us!  “Bloom where you are planted.”  I put this saying on the back of my pictures as a reminder of how the flowers speak to me.

Flowers have charmed me into wanting to save each and every one I see.  As a result, I have been experimenting with preserving flowers for over 30 years, and have developed a procedure for enhancing their color and transforming them into lasting keepsakes.

The design I use is open and airy so the shape and beauty of each leaf and flower is seen on its own.

I have given lectures, demonstrated this Victorian floral art on television, and have received numerous awards at various art shows over the years.

In addition to participating in art shows in the midwest (see Show Schedule), preserving wedding bouquets, funeral flowers, and other custom orders have become a large part of our business.

I have been supported in this endeavor by my longtime husband, who has recently been promoted to sales associate (trainee level).  Ken cuts my glass, frames my pictures and critiques my work.
